Snow machine, home made fun type!

the motor must be in the wheel hub area... but I don't see how it is steered, unless it's differential engine speeds, it looks chainsaw motors and twist throttles. 1939–1946. Total 33 840 units were pro­duced. This truck is pow­ered by gas gen­er­a­tor that used fire­wood (or coal) to pro­duce gas that pow­ers the engine. Above, the Kee Bird, which was the subject of an awesome recovery effort when private funding got it up and running, and moving, but old electrical wiring shorted, and the whole thing burned to cinders on film while a documentary was being filmed, it is so worth seeing!
